Couldn't find a better spot for an intro..

Greetings, all. My name is Sean and I am an addict-

    [all: "Hello, Sean"]

I have been addicted to BMW's for about 6 years now and I am finally getting into the harder things like e30's/... I have even brought my wife down this path with me.. She had her first taste and was immediately hooked. I am solely to blame. We are looking for a community of support where we can vent/ask questions about our collective addictions and have support of fellow addicts.

I started this path with my E36 M3 and that was all it took. From there, I took my first dose of an E39 M5 and all hope was lost.

I recently picked up a 318i which is just a shell for swapping (more on that later) and the Mrs' just picked up a 325 from a local board member.. Can't remember his name offhand, but I hope he chimes in.

I will be sitting back and listening to others' stories for the time being until I feel comfortable getting up and sharing again.

    Thank you.

I suppose we all thought that, one way or another."

Welcome Sean and wife, you've found the right place for all your e30 needs. Good to hear that you have a wife that shares your passion. Post pics of wife, opps e30s ASAP.

Hahaha. I will surely get on that soon. Both cars are new to us, so not many pics have been taken yet.

Mine will be very picture heavy once I start into my swap.. Motors take forever to ship from Japanese sellers.. yes, Japanese... ;-)

This is going to be great, give me a little hint on the motor. First letter or number? Love hybrid swaps. If you start a build thread please update this one with a link. I like your style already!

I had an rs4 and an a4 for a while, liked building them a lot, but cost too much to maintain.. Very acid diver, though work hasn't permitted in quite some time. The motor is a red top SR20DET =)

Sweet, my first Japanese car was 300zxtt. Scary fast car but a pain to maintain. Bought my motor from Tiger imports with very low miles. Had good experience with them.

I had a Z32 a while back as well =) mine only had the usdm vg30dett, and was still pretty slow considering. I wish I would have got around to getting a proper build on it before I got bored w/her
