Only one that comes to mind is on Halloween. My roommate was handing out candy and someone asked her if I was selling. I told her to tell them that I would never sell. Apparently they where quite persistent. Only story like this I can recall.

Aren't there only something like 2 or 3 E34 IX tourings in the states?

When I had my car people asked me to sell it more than a few times.

My favorite was at a 7-11 when i was 17 and trying to get beer. Some guy was going nuts about my car, I told him I wouldn't sell it. I asked him to buy me beer, he said no way. We continued to talk about my car, I then told him I was actually beginning to consider selling it, and he should give me his number so I could let him have the first shot at it....he then bought me beer. I never called.

Had plenty of notes and plenty of parking lot offers. To many to count. Had one guy in a newer M3 make an officer that ed berry hard to turn down.

Never had a note left but had a guy chase me on the sidewalk through the city for 2 blocks to ask if I'd sell it. Had a few random people at gas stations ask too.

No notes. Occasionally I get a couple older people, always compliments on the sharpie stuff. Usually though it's a kid coming up saying "This would be perfect for my first car".

Yeah, it would be, if you knew exactly how expensive and rare the shit inside it is, and that wasn't there. But you don't, I do, and it's there. So, sorry kid.

I was followed into a shopping parking lot and asked if I needed to buy parts for the e30!

    Bloody strange...

The only things I get on my M3 are the 'we buy junk cars' flyers

I've had like 5 people ask me if I want to sell mine. Thing is, it's a beater. Not even close to some of the nicer E30s.

I have a few in my glovebox, never gonna call but it is fun to get them!

I left one on a clean but unremarkable M3 once, guy emailed me back but wanted way more than I felt the car was worth at that time. He also told me it had 'full race suspension'.
