    odd wire on passenger side

I'm finally got the AC system put together on my S50e30 ready for a vacuum draw. I'm pretty sure the last time the AC worked in this car was 1992-93 when the compressor failed so I'm rusty.

I have 2 separate single wires near the AC dryer. Looking through the ETM, I deduced that the red/black wire is the 12V power for the compressor. Makes sense as it comes along the harness for the dryer pressure switch.

Any idea what the black/white single connector is for?! It comes from the part of the body harness that has the coolant level sensor wiring on it. The car is an '87 so the coolant reservoir was on the passenger side when it still had the M20.

    '87 325ic, powered by S50.

Possibly compressor clutch or high pressure cut out switch. Will look at mine tomorrow and see where it goes.

The Black/White wire you show goes to a Pressure Switch at the Filter/Drier. The "Male" Connector branches off the Injector Harness, then across the Timing Belt Cover, and out just above the CPS extending about 6"-8".
