So i'm preparing my 86eta for the 2.7i build. The eta motor is still in it and I want to start swapping things over since i'm waiting for a couple things to finish the motor.
I currently have the early model 5k tach (coding plug in the rear). I picked up a late model cluster (coding plug bottom right) from a 325i at the junk yard. Can I just swap the gas gauge and install the late model 7k cluster in and everything work? I would think the DME would control the rev limiter at 5k?
