    power tops anyone?

I would like some pictures of the motor and the arm that opens and closes the top.

      Take a look here:

These are shots of Quincy's and my motors during repair.

Fucking awesome, thats exactly what I need.

What if my motor is broken here as well. The arm thats attached to that piece I circled is jacked up also.

Also, when I push the power top button, I don't hear anything from the motor. Does this mean my motor is toast?

One other thing, can anyone speak german so that I can contact the guys on that website? Thanks.

Im sure you could send him an email in English anyway, chances are so far in my experience they'd be able to respond fine. If not, then it might require some Germanness.

I have seen ONE power E30 cabrio top work before. It was some rich person in North Marshfield who ended up selling the car for a Lexus or Mercedes, I forget which. Unfortunately I never got the chance to speak with the woman who owned it.

That's it though. Even the best maintained cabrios no longer have power tops. A working one is extremely rare at this point.

Manual tops FTW. The oldest halfway decent power BMW convertiable top is from the E46.
