    snow sucks, better with blizzaks

My first winter with blizzaks is going pretty good. Never had dedicated snow tires on any car, don't really need it my part of kansas. These tires have turned my little 318 into a tank in the snow. Only problem I've had is deep snow where the car gets high centered.

If your on the fence about getting snow tires, do it, you won't regret it!

Good snow tires help any car. My IX with new snow tires is a beast!!!

And now you understand the world of difference they make.

Firestone winterforces on mine. Plays in the snow like a mofo, sideways at every corner with plenty of grip to carry on sideways for miles. Because cops up here understand, and don't care.

I refuse to drive in snow without them. We got 6+ inches and ice last night. I was passing SUV's and cars left and right. Could only engage ABS in full lock up, had a hard time hooning in a parking lot because my Falken Aspia's grip a bit too much in snow.

Agree I love my Dunlop's with studs. Blizzacks are good ice tires but not the best snow tires.

Today's snow 11 inches and still snowing

Yes, my eyes are now open! Just never thought we'd ever get this much snow where I live. I've always just driven my wife's cars with all seasons. I'll be selling my slicktop soon, too bad I'll only get this winter to enjoy it with these blizzaks

Love my winterforces! Never been stuck once, although I did sorta have a hard time getting up one slight incline because it was icy and some asshole made me stop my momentum because he was blocking the road....Other than that, I dominate the snow!

E30's been down all winter. Man I miss driving this thing in snow. General Altimax Artics. Cheap and insanely grippy.

                        E34 is on falken Aspia's.

All snow tires rip in snow. They are made for snow. lol. but yeah, blizzaks really do well on ice too. Had a chance to test it out this morning.

I used half a tank of gas just driving around in the snow today in my IX. The roads are a mess because most of the counties ran out of salt weeks ago and are over budget for snow plowing. It was still pretty busy out there. If only the slowass STI's and EVO's would get out of my way.

Oh yeah, about those Nokian tires. Canola oil based rubber compounds are where it's at. The Finns know a thing or two about snow driving.

                            EDIT: More cool videos

I now want an extra set of wheels for studded tires.
