HAHAHAHAHAHAHA EURO 3 has a sweet ass S10!!!!!
and F**K all you truck haters out there. your just jelous that you cant put 3 motors in the back of your E30s. S10s are sweet- esp. in europe, where i cant park my 1500 anywhere. what you all should be hating on is shithead drivers who hit and run. Daves S10 has hauled alot of yourguys parts to get to you! LOVE his S10 now or die!

Yea, I actually like S10s more than most other trunks just because they're small.
However, that guy and his S10 (which is shitty) I really don't like.

I can't comprehend the purpose of the S10. Shitty handling, no power, no ability to haul any thing, zero towing capability, third world build quality.
For what they cost, get a half-ton.

What the hell, too much E30 vandalizing going on.Comment

charlie, you are ohh so wrong. my old s10 with the vortec 4.3 would kill an E30 325i in straight line-not saying thats fast, but its not slow either. after i put a dropped suspension on it, I could hold the german roads just fine- better than a stock E30. and as far as loading-- a complete drivetrain from any euro car fits right in the back. now the towing bit- I agree, but here in germany, they put trailer hitches on golfs! ohh, and the bed on my shortbed S10 was larger than my stepside full size i have now.
not trying to change the topic, or steal the thread. I hate shitty drivers!Comment

Well, I went and checked today and surprise surprise, I didn't see that truck there. I did find an eyewitness who saw my car get hit though. We'll see what happens, I filed a police report and my insurance should be over to check out the damage today.

Mostly just for documentation, actually. Insurance wouldn't cover a hit-and-run unless it was documented by a police report. And I got $800 from insurance to fix everything that was damaged, and I will be using all, if not more, of that money. You're damn right I made a big deal about it.
Anyhow, I found that guy today. A week later his S10 shows back up at work. Bet he thought he had gotten away. A coworker of mine left a note on his windshield about the accident and the police report w/ my contact number. His girlfriend calls me later and I talk to her, she claims he did leave a note (I checked back w/ my witness, lies). He left me a message later. I talked to my insurance company, they said they wouldn't prosecute because it was such a small claim.
I've already got the insurance money but it's not going to cover it by about $100-$200 dollars (mostly because I'm upgrading while I'm replacing, so I can't argue w/ insurance on that front), plus I have the higher insurance rates because I've filed a claim.
What should I do to get some money out of him? Just ask flat out for $300 to cover what insurance would not?
