They like glocks because they are just like the AK, loose. Being loose makes them reliable but doesnt do much for accuracy. I will admit that it works great in thier situations since a snubnosed 38 would do most of the work they need.

If he really wants to be smart get the subcompact of whatever caliber they issue. If its the 9mm G17 (most common police gun) then get the subcompact G26. The reason is he can use his full length 17 round magazines in the G26, they just stick out the bottom a little.

M-16/AR-15's arent loud, an M-4 is loud. An Enfield .308 is loud. An SKS is loud...all of which i've shot. I didnt like shooting an AK, the trigger felt like it was going to rub the skin right off my damn finger (Romanian model). Didnt like shooting the Beretta 92F, during basic, either. Talk about a hair trigger. You could blow on it and it'd go off. That Sig Sauer is beautiful, Pablo Escobar's pistol of choice. ;) Though I think his may have been a .45?

yah those are both modeled off of the real sniper rifles pictured below, so they are both bolt action, as you can see they are very close replicas, but not perfect. sniper rifles shoot about 500 fps...which is almost considered a projectal weapon in canada :o
the rest of the weapons are electric, ie the full assualt rifles such as ak-47, m16 and etc. most hand guns are gas powered, (ie green gas, duster gas) some are spring, but thats only if your cheap heh. and some hand guns are gas blow back, which recoil like a real hand gun, to give you a realistic effect :) need more info just ask away.

heh, i got hit with an airsoft veriosn right in the head....owch, it was like point blank....and the airsoft verison shoots 3 bbs at a time, in a triangle...and well they formed and triangle on my forhead.....lol
