I know...I know, but right now, I'm in Atlanta for a user conference, while my car sits at home in Charlotte. I'll be home Wednesday night. My first order of business on Thursday morning (after I call in sick) is to get under the car and find (hopefully) that fuel leak.

1 leak leads to the next. He probaly sold it because on a ix it would be a
chore to get the tank out. I would take the tank out and start all over.
Putting a fuel cell in the trunk and running all new lines and mount the
fuel pump in a better spot. That crammed tank is where all the rust starts...

If my fuel tank goes bad, I plan on going this route: "the well cell"

if it leaks mostly at idle, or after you turn it off, you may have a rusted out return line. mine leaked, the hard tubing welded across the top of the tank had a pinhole in it, I dropped the tank and soldered it. hasn't been a problem yet...

fill your tank with water before you bring flame near it...
