wrecked e36 m3: opinions

Before you rush into this car, look at insurance rates. Cost of ownership etc. Repairing it is dumb, to costly, and e36 m3's are a dime a dozen.

If you're really hell bent, buy it, strip it and buy a regular e36 chassis and swap all of it.

insurance is 1400 dollars per year. dime a dozen? well hell I got 50 dimes right here ship me a few of the damn cars please..I can't find any for less than like 18 that haven't been ragged to hell..

I've been considering the chassis swap options..but do the 318's and stuff have traction control and all of that shit..or would that end up being a real pain in the ass?

thats is totaled, to much b pillar damage to correct, the subframe would be not be able to be reposistoned, and the floor panles would have krinkled all along, making it impossible to straighent.

you tell me how hard it is to take a crease out of sheet metal, and then u'll under stand why you can't fix that.

Now, M3's are cheap, you might have to travel to aquire one, but i see them go for 14k often enough. Its going to cost you 2x that to fix the black car.
