e30 cd storage and armrest?? HUH??

    e30 cd storage and armrest?? HUH??

    Anyone got any info on this? its listed as an oem e30 armrest.

              The only use for this I can think of is for really late model verts and maybe a late touring? Were CD players ever in E30's from the factory?

                              I figured the storage recess in the center console but that seems like a tight fit. It's just strange that I've never seen this in any bmw
