About to buy 90 325is / need advice and opinion asap

What up guys! It's the 84 318i that got wrecked by his girlfriend. Check this out. I am most likely about to buy this 90 BMW 325is however I need to ask you all your opinions on how much to pay considering that:

    1. Windshield is cracked (I found it for $140 installed)
    2. Hood has been scratched in multiple places (fairly deep)
    3. Two slightly-smaller-than-fist dents in two separate locations
    4. The Odometer is no longer working
    5. The head liner/ceiling liner is messing up around the interior ceiling lights

I consider most of these fairly small issues (except for the odomoter not working) Other than that the car is in nice shape. It's got leather interior with regular age cracks. All electrical works. They are asking for $3,000. Should I pay the money and run or based on the above have the right to negotiate a little more. I will regardless, just trying to get you guys opinions on what you would pay/what should be payed.

The price seems a little hight but if it has good miles and it runs fine then it might be alright.

Honestly, if the paint and body are in top shape (I know you mentioned dents, but I'm talking rust, oxidation/clear coat peeling, etc.), $3000 is a fair price for the car. What is the estimated mileage?

        The estimated mileage is 175K.

Keep lookin. There will be a better example i promise. I paid 1,200 cash for my 87' 325is wich is near perfect.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

1,200 for an 87' 325is and 1300 for an 89 325is with no major issues?? Damn, I'm beginning to get the picture that Cali is flooded with these bimmers.... Besides everytime I do a search, most of them are in Cali, Arizona or up in the northeast. They are hard to come by here in Texas and the fact that I want an 89, 90 or 91 325'is' doesn't make it any easier. If they bring it down to $2,500 or the $2,600, I think I will buy. I've been looking for months! Hell, I was almost just giving up on replacing the 84 318i with another bimmer all together.:loco:

Is the estimated milage REALLY 175K? Thats how I got screwed, guy told me he only put 5k on it with a broken odometer, it was probably a lot more, either that or my timing belt broke after 40k I think, which dosnt seem right.

If you do go through with it, try to check all the records to see if he is telling the truth about it.
