    My first e30 questions!

Hey everyone i just go my first e30 the other day and lets just say it's a fixer upper! I do have a few questions tho.

I paid $500. California car. Don't see hardly any rust.
    Car seems to run GREAT!
    Car: 1985 325e

Can I convert to plastic Bumpers?
Can I put a LSD in it? (if so which one)
Is there a certain spark plug/ oil that it recommended to use?
The windows don't roll down( electric windows) where should I start?
What are the first things I should check/change to get it back running like its new?

    Thank you!

Maybe its a leaf, but right next to the man pedal. Best bet is to check fuses first for those windows.

            430K? Holy hell, that's impressive.

That does look like a huge hole in the DS floor pan by the clutch pedal.

Yes, you can convert to plastic bumpers. It will cost you more than you paid for the car though, and it's a lot of work. Yes, you can put an LSD in.

That button locks out the electric window function. Have a browse through your owner's manual.

Converting to plastic bumpers is cheap if you get them yourself from the junk yard. Preferably in white so you don't have to pay for paint. And converting them isn't hard either if you have any mechanical skills.

Any e30 lsd diff will bolt into your car but the ratio is what you need to be concerned about. Since you have 325e you will need a diff from a 325es or a e24/e28 diff because the ratios will work with your motor.
