got a 65 dollar euro plate ticket.....lol my car was parked in queens when i was attending school and some pig gave me a ticket and shoved the ticket in front of my euro plate.....wouldnt have seen it if i hadent walked towards the front of the car.....well went to the precint today and they told me to take a pic and send it in with the ticket marked not guilty.....lol i guess ill have to see where it goes from there....any one else have some stupid parking/ moving violation tickets they would like to share!

dude its just a fix it ticket I think......take your car to a precient with the real plate on it and they should give you a paper saying you have it on you mail that in with the ticket. But it has to be within 24 hours.

I have euro plates front and back. Though, i did cut out the original plate, and place it in the euro holder. I asked a police officer, and its legal, as long as you can see the state, numbers, and tabs (if you have them). On mine, you can see just about everything you would see if you had a license plate frame.

Yep, I've gotten out of two tickets for it. One time I just played dumb like I didn't know the front was required. The other, I told him I was just in an accident...which I kind of was, I hit a huge cat on the interstate at 85 mph and destroyed my BMP front bumper.same shit.....you can always make an excuse for no front plate though.-Brandon

I dont know what the big deal is.. I need to have a front plate, and my car looks like shit from the front. There is a guy at my college who drives an 86 325. Poor old thing, doesnt look like its been taken very good care of, but hes got a euro plate with the same number/letters as his real state plate. I dont see how there can be anything wrong with that. But yet even that is illegal (supposedly). I havent got to ask him if hes had any trouble, but i figure one day i will walk out and the euro plate will be gone. My dad got pulled over for having a euro plate on his porsche, but then again cops were probably looking at every reason possible to pull him over. I just hate the freaking law, and want to move to PA. Any comments on the euro plate matching your state plate? I know BavAutosport sells the custom ones, and I have been wondering if i should buy one.
