easy way to remove e36 m3 oil pan??

Best way is on a lift.

Support the engine and drop the subframe/steering rack.
Do not disconnect any of the suspension except the CAB brackets!! Just let it DROOP.

Remove pan, do what you need to do, replace and reverse.

You have to raise the motor and drop the subframe. No tricks on those.

thanks i should have just PM'd you about it. its a guy i work with and he doesnt have lift so he has to do it on the ground.
