    replacing trunk sunroof drain gaskets

Is it correct to simply replace these 2 seals/gaskets from inside the trunk: peel back the trunk lining to reveal drain, and replace gasket? I noticed that the drain reservoir pieces unclip outward towards the inside of the bumper ('91 318is). Does the bumper need to be removed to replace these gaskets, or can they be replaced from inside the trunk? Gracias!

Ran a search, but didn't see answer

I recently replaced these on my '87 and I'm almost positive I had to remove the plastic bumper surround on each side to do it. Unfortunately it's a bit more involved for you plastic bumper guys. :/
