    Bma ?

    Did BMAparts.com get robbed? I am shopping on thier site right now and every single part is out of stock. I checked for everything and for multiple models/years. I think somoene came in the night and took thier entire inventory. :-)

      That would be James. He didn't rob them, he just made a $2500 parts order. He probably ran them out of stock, and Patrick is sitting at home in the middle of the floor in his living room, rocking back and forth and mumbling 20 year old E30 part numbers over and over again..

          He's rebuilding his E30 from the ground up with all OEM parts.

          Imagine Jordan's E30 rebuild but about 10k x more anal.

            Does BMA sell all OEM parts? I guess I have not really noticed. Are there aftermarket parts that are cheaper?

              As far as I know, BMA is an OEM parts supplier, but they're not just BMW, they do just about everything.

                Do you know of any parts suppliers that have aftermarket parts that are less expensive? I think BMA has great prices but less is better :-)

                  BMA is THE cheapest place you're going to find OEM parts, sometimes EAP4parts.com might be cheaper, but it's negligeable. BMP Design and Bavarian Autosport are the 2 most notable ones, but they aren't cheap.

                  Try places like Turner Motorsport, Abraham Motorsports, Flying Brick Performance, and Ireland Engineering.

                          1994 Subaru Legacy Wagon h4 water pump:
                          Local dealership=$475
                          BMA=$125.

                          No company is perfect, but BMA is close enough, and cost savings alone make it worth. Having friendly and knowledgable staff is the added bonus.

                              This is just wrong.

                              But BMA is fairly cheap. Ship service to the Eastern half of the US is not always quick.
