    Anyone have Turbo Diesel Experience

Has anyone actually driven a M21 Turbo Diesel? 115 HP really sounds weak, but diesels are notoriously buildable. I understand Audi won LeMans this year with a Diesel. I wonder if I could run Bio Fuel and make a Hippie HotRod M21/T4 E30.

I am told I can make 200 gallons of fuel for 19 cents a gallon...300 HP and 400 Ft. Lbs with 40 Psi and propane injection running on 19 cents a gallon? Bring it on!

LeMans hasn't been won yet (it's in June), but Audi's diesel R10 did win its debut at Sebring a few days ago

Guy out in North Carolina built up an E30 club racer with an m21 engine that he converted to biodiesel. It got featured in Grassroots, then he sold it.

Bio isn't really designed for power compared to conventional diesel, so performance numbers aren't gonna be very impressive. Your best bet is to pick up an old 300d or powerstroke if you want to play around with that.

A friend over here bought one with the plans of doing all that to it, but hasnt done crap to it but drive it. oh, he has the propane injection kit for it, but hasnt put it on. I have drove his a few times, and it doesnt seem that slow, and it is a heavy touring. seems quicker than a M20b2.0, or the M40 cars.

i have a m21. its the slowest thing with a BMW logo and it doesnt have the needed torque. however i do get like 35-38 MPG so im not complaining. dude also i would imagine it would cost you a sh** load of money to actually get an M21, convert/modify it... your better off running a 2.7l e, or get a honda civic or something if your looking for a fuel saver. IMO. however if you have the money go ahead and do it.

what? are you serious? man maybe its just my TD but that thing is like a good 10-12 secs befor it gets to like 100km. roughly 60MPH. Im not looking for no record breaking 0-100km times or anything but as far as fast... my friends m20b20 would smoke me in my touring.
