Danny, you're safe. You fall into "midwest". Its the rust belt specials I think he's referring to and on that note, please come here and find straight e30s for how much you westerners are paying for them.

And is this really the first bagged m3 ever? Its not the hardest thing to believe since they're hitting legendary status and being pulled off of tracks as their prices keep going up. Will probably see more of this until collectors own them all.

Excuse me, but I think it's cool and my e30 is nowhere near beat to shit. But thanks for generalizing us.

None of the M3s legend and racetrack success involved an unmodified car.

It was a homologation special, built specifically to be modified.

Oh for fuck's sake... REALLY? Why don't you dial whine-1-1, and have them bring you a wahmburger and some french cries in the wahmbulance? A tragedy?

So let me guess, you're one of those M3 purists that thinks that just because a car made history as a racing legend, that's THE ONLY thing it's ever allowed to be again? Pull your head out of your ass, and stop being such a damn fundamentalist. What a great world this would be if everything remained in EXACTLY the state it was originally intended! No one ever changed or modified anything, put their own spin on it, or even... dare I speak it... GOD FORBID... did whatever the fuck THEY wanted with THEIR car and THEIR money???

Are you planning to buy this car? Did he build it to impress YOU? No, no he fucking didn't. Do you even know the history of this car, or if you do now, did you before you put your angry little fingers to your angry little keyboard? Maybe this car was a total nightmare before, and it was rescued from certain death? Maybe it was a racecar in a past life, and now, it's reborn into something that makes someone so happy they could shit rainbows.

I swear to (insert religious figure here), people like you are what make me HATE the automotive enthusiast scene. I don't even consider someone like you to be an enthusiast. If you're going to spray shit all over another sub-culture of enthusiasts, then what makes your opinion worth a shit?

So much misinformation in this thread.

Bags do NOT "ruin the handling" of a car. Air suspension has been improved to a great extent over the past few years. The false belief that bags are only for lowriders and Caddys should be abolished, it's just plain absurd.

I love the airlift kit on my MKV GTI, if anything I could safely say it improved the handling over stock suspension. I can raise it up to load passengers or cargo, lower it a little for the track, or dump it when I park. With that said, would I bag an E30 M3? Probably not. But It's his car and his money, let him do whatever he wants. People will always hate and that's one thing that's really lame about some people who consider themselves car enthusiasts. Try having an open mind once in a while guys.

When will people realize that half the people who buy M3s do so because they look cool? Especially at this point, if someone wants to race, a regular e30 makes a lot more sense. So you're left with people who keep them collectible, and people who want to make it perfect for what they want.

I don't care what someone wants to do to their's, but maybe that's just because I don't have to worry about them being snatched up since I already got mine.
