    M42 valve cover paint

I'm thinking about painting my valve cover with VHT Enamel. I was looking at the colors they have and aluminum seems to be the way to go. If anyone has pictures can I see them. Advice? Any colors you guys think look cool

I already did that. Didn't really like it. I don't like the texture of wrinkle paint lol

I remember some dude did hydrographics on his m42 valve cover... if I remember right he did wood grain or something crazy. It was pretty cool.

I just used some Flat black high temp paint, sanded the raised bits, then polished them with my dads dremel. Looks very good and it holding up excellently. That was, however, for my M20 valve cover, but I see no reason why you couldn't do it with an m42. I plan on doing my intake manifold the same way, I know I don't really need high temp paint but it's what I had.
It's not bad paint, it's called "patina"
