that interior looks like it smells delicious. 'unmolested'....yeah because it hasn't moved since '92.
      gross.

This is a completely unmolested car. The only unoriginal parts are the front seats (as addressed below). This car was babied by the owner and treated well.
        Zero rot/structural damage.

-Car does not start currently. It is being sold as non-running. According to the PO's son the car starts with a shot of starter fluid. I have not had a chance to try. I'd assume it needs a fuel pump, but I cannot attest to that.
-The previous owner was an older gentleman, and as such managed to bump the front of his garage when parking. As such, the hood has been dented and rusted at that spot, as pictured.
-There is a dent in the passenger's side fender which has also chipped the paint and formed rust.
-There is one crack in the dashboard, as pictured, which is directly behind the cluster&steering wheel. Otherwise dash is crack-free.
-Car only comes with a Valet key. Original key was lost.
        -Truck is stuck locked
-The speakers are missing from the rear deck. I believe they were removed in order to gain access to the trunk.
-The original front seats were replaced with seats from a sedan (4-door seats). No clue why/when.
-Dent in the driver's side door. The trim piece is also bent, but in the car. Should be easily popped out and placed back in. No paint damage/rust in the area.

Overall this is a more than solid car
        Contradictions. Contradictions everywhere.

It does have that uncommon M10 along with that stupid dash mounted warning light. Who knows, with the way E30s are going 3 years from now that with a slushbox could be considered a desirable & collectable combination.

Didn't think the price was all that bad looking through the pics…but then the description and it doesn't even run? And he doesn't even have the key, and can't open the trunk? GLWS lol

what he means is at least the facts are here and it's not up for 6k.
However, i don't care how much it costs, it's too much work. just think about all the other 'deep in there' repairs that would have to be made because the car hasn't run in so long. I mean that engine will have to get swapped out, tires, rust repair, changing the keys for some starters....'hasn't run' since at least 1992. I mean come on the thing's been sitting for longer than I've been alive.

If you were looking for a major strip down/build up then it would be worth it at 1/3 that price. Turbo m10 mmmmmmmm...
