e30 auto?

I asked my friend if she wanted to sell her 1987 325is auto and she said she'll sell it to me for $1500 theres a lot of problems with it .... if I buy it I have to replace; brakes, oil pan, spedo, tires, and its an auto....wich means manual swap. .......is it even worth it to buy......or should I just wait and buy a e46....... (this is my secondary/project car) idk if I want another e30

Can't really tell you if it's worth it. E30 prices are jumping up but you will have to add the cost of the car+cost of repairs+ your time to do repairs. You will have to decide if its worth it to YOU.

logic goes out the window on a car you love. Im so upside down on all my cars and i dont care. Id rather have a car I over spent on and love than a good deal on an appliance.

lol, why buy another e30 that needs fixing up when I'm sure your current one isn't in excellent condition (I'm assuming). Unless you just wanna make it a track rat or something, but it seems like you are looking for a second DD. Either go e46 or fix up the e30 with that money.

It needs a new oil pan cause she slammed the e30 and she cracked it going over speed bumps lol

Youre right my current e30 isn't where I want it to be...but then again i will probably never be satisfied with how it is and you can never have too many e30's lol but I drove a e46 the other day and I am strongly concidering it! ...completely different experience
