    Introduction ::handshakes::

    Greetings,

    I've been over on the Bimmerfest forum for a while and am hopping over here now as well. Lots of good stuff. Currently have my 85 325e up on jackstands for the winter and a pile of parts in the basement, just waiting to press a few bushings and bearings and put her back together. My Grandfather bought her new back in the day and now here she sits in my driveway (under cover) with no rust, mint paint and interior and 88k on the clock. Bone stock she is, or was i should say. Waiting to go in I've got a Conforti chip, Beyern silver mesh 15x7's wrapped in Dunlop 205/50s, Raceland's e30 suspension kit, all new genuine BMW control arms with M3 bushings and tie rods, and then timing belt and water pump and all applicable gaskets and such too. I picked up K-MAC kits for the camber front and rear too so she'll sit flat. May be one of the few, but I can't stand that rear camber look. I've reconditioned all the strut housings and calipers and brackets since the wheels are pretty much see through now. For the future I'm just thinking about the re-assembly mostly and the cleaning of most of the sand and salt off the roads. Intake and Exhaust are on the distant horizon somewhere but most likely next season. All I've mainly got are horribly lit basement pics of before and after reconditioning parts and one of her before I started taking parts off but I'll post some as soon as we put her back on the ground.

    See you in the Forums,
    Smokey

      Welcome! Has the car been on the road with those parts you listed before? I know of a guy around me who drives something very similar. From Lunenburg MA myself.

      PS, now we just have to wait for 2nd winter to pass through.

          Thanks for the Welcomes. Rusty, I'm right up the hill in Fitchburg! Hence the pothole reference. No, she has not been on the road with any of the new fun stuff yet. I'm dying for this winter to end so we can ROAD TRIP.
