I know you all are thinking that psft, sure she looks good, but does she run, yes she slides like a thoroughbred..





took a road trip up to Chicago to grab this back a few years ago...









started mocking her up....







then seen a Craiglist ad for this...no pictures minimal description



so up on the trailer and out the door she goes...



bring her home to meet the stable...



get her in to ready for pulling head...



get her naked...





I put the booster box on the bike to fire it up to see what the dealio was..started right up. wont idle but if your throttle up she sings such a sweet note...I stopped tear down once I got to the plug wires. It seems no one checked to see if the wire set could have been issue. I think it is, I will know for sure once my new set comes in, along with a fresh K&N.

Sorry ya`ll, the point of the story was that after letting her sit for the past 3 years without so much as doing anything more than paying a landlord to have her, I let her go to a great group of guys that is going to carry the torch forward and bring her into completion. I am still fatherland loyal...

Well executed bumper swap.... kinda nice the new owner is gonna have to work for her affection. They aren't just gonna enjoy a well sorted and already finished project. Sucks the accident probably left you with a major hit to the value, hope you got $$$ from insurance to soften the blow.
