    Proud owner of a vert e30 :D!

So I went ahead and picked up this beautiful 1990 325iC for only 700 bucks :). Seemed like a sweet deal. Now im just waitin on it to be shipped up here to Chicago. I haven't actually seen or tested the car, but i told a buddy of mine to go and check it out to see if its driveable at least. Here are the ups/downs:

    The good:
-Runs great, clean engine, trany shifts properly
-Beautiful interior, no rips/fades in the leather
-Decent amount of tread on the tires, decent brakes
    -Real nice paint job
-163k on the dash (fully functional, no odo rollback)

    The Bad:
-Yeah its auto :(, but I've wanted a vert e30 since forever (and for cheap lol)
    -Salvage title
-Needs some body work on the quarter panel of driver side and the door

Heres the photostream as well as a couple of attached pics

This is all i know so far so hit me back with feedback guys! What do you think i should do with it when it gets here so i can order the parts and have them ready? im planning on those sick smoked angel eyes and some crystal smoked tail lights. belts on my priority list. other than that i havent really racked up anything. What do you guys think, doesnt sound to shabby? I want to learn everything about these cars and what i can do to them, mechanically appearance, all that. Thanks and lookin forward to hearin from you.

If you're gonna use syrup for the suspension, make sure you use aunty jemini's, aight?

When I bought my first e30 everyone was like spend money on maint, do the timming belt, flush coolant, change h20pump, etc.

But I was like if its gonna break down I want to look good doing it, you heard. Gotta get it looking clean and fresh above all else. I would drop about $2000 into cosmetics first, angel eyes, eyebrow, dent pulled, fender vents, some paint, wheels, drop it to the ground and your good to go, maybee even those cool m3 front bumpers on ebay and then knockout the maint stuff a little at a time as you go. If you get it looking good you can always sell it if something goes wrong.
