because they poke a bit (light fender flare) and I think it may look good if they are black or even color match... ive seen them IRL and they don't look bad just chrome sucks... so I think ima get a lil project going ill keep all you haters posted :)

Man, i'd just find some proper flares if that's what you're looking to do. Save the effort for those.
