    Sometimes I wish I didn't work full-time

Because I keep missing deals like this!

I contacted the OP within 2 hrs of the post; pleading my case, cold silence ensued. :(

Back in my 24-7 craigslist lurking days, a car like this would light up my radar and I'd be at the guys place within the hour.

waaaa, oh well hope the new owner enjoys it.

Hopefully, mine will come in time.

Really not worth it considering it's a salvage title

Shoot, I'd have paid $12K for that. Wouldn't car that it was a salvage car, as I'd never sell it.

Depending on the damage the salvage title may not be a big deal, remember parts for these are ridiculously expensive and they were vastly undervalued by kbb for a while.

Still not a great deal, but probably still a decent price with the limited info there.

2 years ago wasn't much different from now. I bought mine 2 years ago as well, it was already on fire at that point. It's been on a steady rise for probably at least 10 years, though it does seem to be picking up a bit more lately.

And if you didn't work full time, you'd have seen it and been thinking to yourself "Now where am I gonna find $12K? Or how the hell am I gonna qualify for a loan that isn't 25%+ APR?"

As for salvaged... who, cares if the motor is in good condition and works? Aren't s14 motors worth around $10K-$14K depending on condition and documentation? The 5-lug parts are worth a decent amount too - I just saw someone sell their rear end for $1k.

At the very least, this is an awesome deal at a parts car and making a few $K in the process...

That said, I wouldn't bother restoring it...

Its misinformation like this that I feel is contributing to the outrages price increases for e30 m3 parts
