    Just a little update on this.

    I got it bolted up and woah, my poor exhaust was the only thing holding it.

    +1, I would think that would have been pretty noticeable. Who knows what else the PO left loose.

    If you found this you should do some more slow searching around for other things that are out of place , not bolted up correctly, at wrong angles and so forth.

    Better to find out being stationary than at 60 mph going down the road.

    Happened to me once years and years ago with my second E30.

    Noticed my shifter whomping back and forth in the tunnel hole and thought 'Oh WTF, what now.'

    Hmm vibrations not really. I do notice when I shift I hear something wobbleing though, always wondered what that was. Hopefully once I get this bolted that noise will go away.
