Hi Everyone;
Just wanted to share a simple and very cheap way to add a cup-holder to our cars. Nothing fancy but it will work. Sorry if this has been posted before as I know there are many innovative and creative people when it comes to keeping our beloved cars on the road.
Was at PepBoys today and bought this cup-holder which I thought I could put to use in my car. It is a MoblOrg Wedgie Auto Cup Holder made by TSI. I paid about $9.00.

With the e-brake console out of the car, I presented the cup-holder next to the console and marked and cut the excess bottom piece so it would be nice and flush with the console.

I used a small hand saw to do the cutting.

I then used 3 nuts and bolts I had in my stash to fix the cup holder to the console.

Finished fabrication:

Assembled in the car - Drivers side view:

Passengers side view:

In my case, I'm going to get some plastic screw covers that are used for license plates to cover the screw heads. If you want, I guess you could use a dab of black paint as well.
Well, there you have it. Just my way to give back to this great community.:D
