    What would you do

So I have had my e30 for 3 months. bought it cheap, real cheap because the PO broke the T belt. I have a guy wanting to straight trade me his super moto valued at $5500 with extras. I had my buddy that races moto X look into it and he said Id be safe with $4000 minimum out of it. I see it as an opportunity to find pretty good e30 or maybe even a 2002. However the whole point of the buy was a rally car so buying a good condition e30 would be stupid and I already have a lot of time into mine. So would you guys take a gamble and hope you could sell the bike or just keep on keepin on?

What kind of super moto... some brands aren't worth crap after they leave the lot, and most mods don't even get you any resale value. In fact a cherry find is a stock bike that has been run very mild and never tipped. What kind of miles? bikes don't get what cars do. 20K is well broken in, if raced it's beat and most likely ready for rings/rebuild.

I have had 4 of these bikes so far. KTM and Honda are my favorites.

I would say go for the supermoto especially if it is street legal. That is almost new IMO. At least out here in Colorado that bike would easily fetch $4500

Also not exactly sold as road legal, are you sure it's not YZ?

like that's a carb fed 4 stroke dirt bike running on 1990s 400c tech.

you can score a nice 999 ktm built as a super motor for that price.

or go with a Honda xr650 or an xl650 r and mod it.

I have a Honda 650 with a stroker kit, that's totally done out and you can get it for like 3500 all day. F3ars bro's drove it all over, pulls the front end up in 4th gear. I even put a top end oiler in it so you can ride a wheely for a few miles with out worry of damaging the rings.

Man, a YZ is hard to pass up if you're planning on riding it. Get another e30 later. If you're just planning on flipping it, might just keep your current e30 depending on its condition, your plans for it and the rising e30 prices lately...

a brand new one goes for like 7K http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-YZ-AL...US_motorcycles

an 2005 goes for like 2-5 3 grand. They are not natively a road legal bike either, so if it is.. it's not really legal depending on the state.
