Advice on this e30 im thinking about purchasing. UPDATED with pics

Hey everyone! I'm going next Friday to pick up an e30 and wanted to get some advice from those who have more experience than me with these cars. The car is an 89 coupe in alpine white. I know I should look for rust, and ask when the timing belt has been changed but what else should I look for? hes offering the car a 2k. What I'm planning to do is just fix it up i.e new paint, interior ,ac wheels, basically just have a nice example of an e30. the car runs and drives also.

Here is the exact description of what the owner calls things of concern, this is from his exact post.

    The stuff of concern:

Power steering is a little stiff.
    Needs minor alignment.
No inside door handle on the passenger side.
Locks are a little weird, but the car does lock and will stay locked.
The coolant gauge doesn't work but there is a custom one built in.
The driver seat is broken and is always in one position.
The dash is split in some spots.
The hood has hood pins so it will stay down.
The hood also doesn't have a prop bar, so I've been using a metal rod to hold it up.
    The windshield fluid doesn't work.
The plastic trim is chipped in some areas.
The park brake sensor is messed up, so it goes off and on a lot. Nothing is wrong with park brake as far as i can tell.
Glove compartment door handle is broke so you can't open the glove compartment.
Radio antenna is broke, so the radio has terrible reception, but the radio does have AUX port

It is an auto for 2k, I think you can do better than that. It looks like it has been neglected and the owner didn't know any thing about E30's. My hood won't shut instead of adjusting the hood latch or replacing it he drilled holes in the hood for hood pins. E30 hoods don't have prop bars they have a strut to hold the hood up, it is not hard to replace. Power steering fluid has probably never been changed and looks like mud. His descriptions of everything that is wrong seems like laziness neglect and just didn't care. Run the car until it falls apart. Don't get me wrong the list that is wrong with it is no big deal to fix. But what about what he isn't mentioning, probably all original bushings. I just think that you can find something better for 2k with an auto. If it was a manual I would say jump on it.

That car looks pretty fucked. You'd be MUCH better off spending 3-4k on a car and going from there. Even if you got the car for 1k, you'd probably spend 2 grand getting the paint and body to the level of a 3k e30, and then you still have to fix everything else.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Yeah why do you want an auto? There's a couple on my local CL but that's not help to you, and idk why anyone would want one.

I would feel really bad if you said that you had a prosthetic leg and that's why the auto choice, but really why would want an auto e30?
