    Thoughts on this E30?

Hey guys I am going to take a look at the e30 very in the link below. Owner hasn't maintiend it much but has only put about 5k on it since he has owned it, so the timing belt and water pump are the first this I will do if I buy it. Other than that it looks like standard e30 stuff needs to be done ( seats and odo).

    What do you guys think?

Priced appropriately for miles, year and condition. If you want a vert, its worth having a mech check it out. The work you list isn't too pricey or hard. Make sure its not rotted with rust and be prepared to spend some money to get up to r3vlimited-forum standards! :)

Aside from the seats, it looks like a fairly well maintained, decent condition car with some nice wheels on it. You could probably wiggle the price down a little but it I couldn't see it going for less than $4k.

At asking price the paint should be near perfect. I'd also check to see how the valance was installed - hopefully not zip ties or (self-tapping) screws. That's an '87is valance; they did not come on verts.

Not bad at all. I would offer up 3500-4K just to see if he would bite. But it looks like a pretty good specimen.
