    Cruise control users read this!

    I need some help!

I am installing cruise control on a 1991 318i. I have everything figures out, but I can not figure out where the brake switch plugs into. I know it is "in the upper left of the driver footwell". But I can't find the block plug people speak of.

Can someone take a picture of where the plug goes into?

The brake switch plug wires are violet/white and green/red on the cruise control harness.

Any help is appreciated. And here is a picture of the car for reading this.

Thats what I have to read off of. He is very vague about what the plug looks like and where it is located. Thank you though

Iirc it plugs into the accessories block under the dash, and above the hood release area.

I will take a look and try to find the "accessories block".

That picture is perfect, thank you. I can see the brake wires in the top right of the photo.

There is clearly one spot for the plug. It was in the top corner like that photo although my other wires were different. It is not an easy accessories block to access.

Simply put, you have to cut off the connector, then you have to find another acc. wire to pigtail the purple wire to (I used the one for the radio)and then you have to pigtail the green wire to the load side of the brake switch. (load side is the one that doesn't have any power until the brake pedal is depressed)
I've added cruise in both my 318is's
what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.
