    Remove oil from carpet...how?

Oil container let loose 2 quarts of 0w-40 synthetic in the trunk of the e39. It stayed entirely in the center carpet piece but I'm having a bitch of a time getting it out. Soaked it in full strength simple green over night, tried to power wash it at the car wash, threw and near boiling hot water at it too. Its still just there...

Getting a great sense of what oil slicks are like to deal with.

Any other pointers/suggestions or just keep chipping away at it with hot water and soap?

Dawn. Gentle enough for birds, tough enough for your carpet.
