run front of driveshaft, w/ rear of another?

They are notchy on the rear most u joints on drive shaft (A).

if the u joints are still good on my stock rear driveshaft section (B), can i use the front section from A with the rear section of B, or will it need to be rebalanced.

It will have to be rebalanced since it is balanced as a whole and the pieces from different shafts would be balanced differently.

ok well its $100 for a rebalance around these parts... i might just grab another one from the junk yard and try it out instead.
