You don't need to pull anything. The whole bearing/mounting bracket unbolts from the car itself, and as far as removing it from the driveshaft, just smack it off with a flat-blade screwdriver and a hammer, working around the outside of it. It's going in the trash, anyway.
ok well i dont want to score the mounting surface and i've tried wacking it pretty hard with that method. i'd rather just get it off the right way. i dont think i have a socket long enough to press it back on there so what do i do then? i guess i'll measure it and go try and find a huge washer.

There is a clip that holds it on before wacking it will work... sure you got that out?
As far as pressing it back on, find a length of pipe that is just slightly larger than the splines on teh driveshaft that you can tap it on with.
i took the clip off yes; unless there is a clip that you cant see on the u joint side of the shaft. i already took the clip off the splined side of the shaft.
my uncle is going to let me use his pullers he said he has an assortment so i will probably find one that will work.
