Saw a show last night where this thing won against a lambo, GTR etc.

While I understand the concept of weight, was this staged?

It is a reality show... But I will say that since it's a reality show, they need ratings. And who wants to see losing cars.

That GTR should have hooked up MUCH better. Just youtube "stock" GTRs drag runs and you'll see the difference is night and day.

Stock GTR quarter mile is like 11 seconds if I am not mistaken....that car ran intentionally on a bad way.

Props to the bug nonetheless.

The show is on the Discovery Channel, so I'll tune in again when a mermaid gets behind the wheel and goes up against Veyron.

It only take about $5,000 to make a bug run 11's. The GTR wasn't sandbagging, it just lost. I don't need to watch some vids of the GTR on youtube, you need to watch some vids of bugs and stop sweating the GTR.
