Joined the NAVY

Hey everyone, a few of you know me, from here and there, and a few of you know me as a personal friend.

I joined the Navy last tuesday. I ship out June 22, 2006 for boot-camp. Boot-camp is in Chicago, IL. I will be there for 2 months. Then I will move to San Diego, CA for schooling. I will be a Sonar Technician. If I do not go seals. I'm not quite sure if I want to go to Navy Seal training or not yet. I've been working out a lot lately, getting physically and mentally in shape before the option comes up, just in case I do decide to go Seals.

If I do not go Seals, after my schooling in San Diego, I am going to try to get stationed in Italy.

Trevor and I had an idea, hah. IF I perhaps do get stationed over in Italy, I could be r3v limiteds european parts guy. haha. :P

Just a cool thought if I make it to Italy.

Yea, get your hands on a 320is. Don't military personel get a really cheap rate on shipping a car back to the US? My car was purchased in germany by a guy in the military and shipped back home.

you should at least attempt to be a SeAL. a lot of people wash out... if you do, become a sonar tech or whatever. at least you will know whether you were a badass or not.

let the branch trash talkin begin. no but not as a sarcastic question or anything, why the Navy? i mean did you look into other services? good luck in basic. good advice is shut yout mouth and do as your told, stay quiet and not attract any attention and you should go by under the radar. lol get it under the radar?

I dont know anyone that goes to USC, but i might know the ppl that you know.

I chose the Navy because my grandfather was in the Navy. I never got to meet him, so I wanted to follow his foot-steps. He was very high-up in the Navy. A Captain of a ship during D-Day. His ship got hit by a mortar.

I did check into the marines / army / chairforce.

Marines = not my style.
Army = not my style.
Navy = I love the ocean / ships.
Chairforce = I like to actually do something. (IM JK. I call it the Chairforce because one of my really good buddies is in the Air Force.)

AND YES: I do get really cheap shipping rates.

Im Navy dumbass. I'll be spending all my time in San Diego. Im gonna be studying hard for my job. If I graduate on the top of my class, I get higher rank advancement faster, and I get to choose ANYWHERE in the world that I want to be stationed.
