Tips on removing 260\6 trans from e32 m30

can only use hand tools.

engine & trans still mated together in vehicle.

I've removed the exhaust, crossmember, disconnected from driveshaft and have gotten a few torn bolts out (one is stripped, will deal with that one later)

otherwise on separating...any pointers?

Pull the motor. It doesnt take long to pull the motor just unhook it if no fucks are given you can cut alot of shit to

get one of those engine hoists they have, pull the nose of the motor up until it's wedged against the firewall and the trans has reasonable room around it

Got some mounts ordered today. So that seals the deal.

No m30 yet.
But 260/6's are a tough find

Edit. The tranny is attached to an m30b30 no bueno.
Otherwise I'd take the whole lot
