    BaT hosting auctions now!

    I think it's a cool fucking idea.
But then again, I'm also a bit of a proponent of Bring A Trailer.

    Taken from the site:

"The success of our BaT Exclusive listings has lead us to launch of BaT Auctions, designed to be the best place to buy and sell a classic car online. These offerings are available for bidding later this week in a grouped auction event. Vehicles are open for discussion for 6 days prior to the 24-hour bidding window."

Excuse me, while I microwave my popcorn for this upcoming auction

Bid for the chance to own a Pristine 69k-Mile 1990 BMW M3 at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #2.

WOW - at last. Nice to see someone firing shots at big dawg eBay.

BTW - think I'm gonna order me a BaT t-shirt.

Ameet, you know that the founder of BaT is a Haas alumni who lives in Oakland?

      That's insane.

Hmm, maybe it's time to auction the Hartge I bought off of BAT?

Listing fee appears to be $250, anyone know what eBay's is?
Seems fairly reasonable as the BaT audience appear to have some pretty deep pockets.

        Regarding the founder bit, forreal?
I know that ground zero for BaT is in the city as I had applied to em

Looks like the buyer is hit with most of the fees ... 5% to BAT + almost 3% to the 3rd party money handlers.

                I believe flee-bay runs $125.00 to list a vehicle.

I dig BAT jumping into the bays arena.

Remember that final sale price is recorded after fees and tax so around 10%-15% on top of the final bid price.

Went for $58,000 plus fees, so just over $60,000...... Just where Hargerty Insurance Values the car. Great to see that the value is correct and backed up by a real sale......

Why does everyone hate on EAG?? they have carved out a niche and likely worked their asses off to get where they are. I have nothing against hard work and a profit for same. People (clientele) set the price.. Not EAG
If they are asking too much people arent going to pay it. I for one am glad to see m3's appreciate
