Roof rack question

This guy is selling this roof rack set off of his e36 near where I live..will it fit an e30? Thanks in advance

Fit Kit 145 (E36)
Fairing
4x Locks

I don't think it will work on an e30 because e30 roof racks normally have feet that attach to the rain gutters while e36 roof racks clamp on to the door jams

thanks.. I was hoping someone here was running a similar setup or the same with modification to make it fit on the e30
