How much does E30 Shell weigh with everything removed?

I dont think the weight of e30 shell has been discussed on the forum yet (tried searching). Does anyone know how much a e30 (preferably 2 door) weigh when completely stripped?

I would thinking somewhere in the 3-400lb range? That's just a guess though.

Probably 500-1000 would be my guess. Just wondering why do you wanna know?

Cabriolet will probably chime in sometime. When he had his blue car stripped down he could pick up either end of the shell alone. He's not a big guy, so I'd venture a guess that it would weigh in the ballpark of 5-600 lbs.

With absolutely everything removed from our old Chump car, a few panels cut and the roof off two average people were able to lift the shell on to a trailer full of junk. My guess would be sub 400 lbs as it was.
