I hope that the quality of Honda mowers have improved over the last few years. My family bought a very nice Honda riding mower in the mid-late '90's-and paid a pretty penny for it too. It has been the absolute worst mower we have ever owned in regards to reliability. The day it was delivered the drive/gear system died-and that was after only 5 minutes of use. The mower has to be picked up and repaired at least 4 times each year for something breaking-and believe me, this mower is not abused.
It was a good thing that we did not get rid of the 30+ year old Snapper mower that this Honda was to replace-if it wasn't for it, the yard would have never been cut. Hopefully our case is an isolated one, as I know Honda has the ability to produce top notch equipment!Eric Giles
