    So this happened today...

Was bleeding cooling system today and while reving the motor it caught fire. Just my luck. Lately everything has been looking up until today. Luckily not too much damage it seems as if its just the injector harness that got burnt. I guess I'll see if anything else is damaged after i clean it up. Yay.....

This happened to me once, spent 7 days in the burn center at the hospital. Glad you escaped injury!

Damn that sucks. What caused the fire?
I caught a vapor mist of gas leaking from the rubber line connecting to the fuel rail once.

No problem. Let's hope a harness is all you may need. I'm wondering what caused the fire.

Not too sure what caused the fire. I had just replaced the fuel injectors yesterday so im thinking maybe one of the o-rings wasn't sealing properly.

Yeah that was awhile ago. Sticks in my head after having in an injector seal piss all over the place while running in the garage.

Playin with gas, static discharge most likely from a cracked plug wire. Lucky...yes!

Then about 6 months ago in the shop had another m20 spit fire at me. Was short lived but just a reminder these old cars are, well, old.

Its crazy how a small spark and small amount of fuel can really cause a disaster. My next purchase for my car will be a fire extinguisher, maybe 2.

What pissed me off the most is this neighbor that came by to see what was going on and he had the nerve to say "does this mean you're still going to work on the car? Because its really loud and its really been bothering me" i told him to get out of my face and that he was the least of my concerns right now.

That's when you back your car into his drive way and shred a set in it and then continue shredding them in his yard.
