Guy sold e30 m3 for 5300

So I met this guy with an m3 e30 and told him to call me if he ever wanted to sell. I have my car up for sale and he texted me and asked if I wanted to sell it to him. I told him I would trade him for his e30 m3 just joking around and he said he sold it. I asked how much he got out of it and he said he needed cash so he let it go for 5300. I'm seriously so mad.
