I didn't want to bother paying for shocks, hub, ect. Plus the car had been there for maybe 3 weeks? I got them out yesterday, my vert will be happy! Now just waiting on shocks which where shipped out 2 days ago.

Agreed on that wheel. Lucky dog. I'd love a wood grain wheel.

I wouldn't say jackpot, but I found a nice set of OEM premium speakers, minus the front door tweeters. Upgraded from stock speakers. For $20, it was a great upgrade. Those E30 Premiums are amazing, compared to the stocks.

E30s are getting hard to find in the junkyards of Ontario, Canada these days. :( Kijiji is a better source for used parts I'm finding.

at this point you need to be really really careful. the spring is under a load on the strut. carefully unscrew the strut retaining nut and stay out of the way of the business end of the spring. when it unscrews, the spring and strut will go flying out of the housing. they don't go too far, but the tension is probably enough to break a finger/or perhaps a wrist if you are in the way.

if you have the right tools as mentioned above, you can get them out in about 10-15 min/side.
    Thanks man!
