I hit two trees with my e39 4 weeks ago and was luck to be able to unbuckle my seatbelt and open the door and get out of the car. Everyone who responded to me couldn't believe I had done that, they thought I was thrown from the car.

I guess we're both really lucky and sorry about the car, it looked awesome.
