          At least mine was a 318. That extra .2l made all the difference. Although this probably has an m10, not that God awful m40 my car came with.

                In Iran, diving board cars are generally more sought after. 1. because they are "American". And 2. Because they are tough as hell, which is great in big city's like Tehran. I see tons of e12s with American bumpers in Iran.

                  Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, many East Asian countries received "special" spec car is many cases where their cars were pretty much US-spec, save for the RHD & Dtrains.

                  I know in Indonesia they got some Peugeot 505's with big bumpers, some euro bumpers.

                  Same goes for E30's, etc..

                  Very interesting market.

                          The 316 is a 1.8L carby M10 - had a manual one when I lived in the UK with a webber on it. Actually not as bad as you might think, it was fun enough to drive & you could cruise at 85mph no problem.
