    Didnt realize it was such a deal !

    $1400 for engine +parts and $400 for labour

    He's doing it on his own time but he works at a German Auto shop so I definitely trust his work..

    Will let you know if I dont get it though ;)

      This is truth. Once you get bitten by the quest for power it is very hard to stop.

      I ruined my beautiful Audi wagon in order to chase a big awhp number I had set in my head.

      I have since replaced it with a s52 swapped e30 wagon and I get a grin on my face everytime I get behind the wheel. She's reliable, fun and I don't have to do a preflight check every time I pull her out of the garage.

        I vote S/C the M50. I was surprised how easy it was to install a setup. It was in and running in an afternoon. You can pick them up used around 2k if you keep an eye out.

          Turbo the S52, 8psi will get you just under 400rwhp reliably without opening the engine.
          Once you feel the need for more HP lower the compression by adding a .140 MLS. Turn the boost up to 15-18psi and you'll be at the 500+rwhp.
