    Road Trip...

Finally, it is time for the road trip. My bro was doing the Navy SEAL thing down in Coronado CA(San Diego), but realized after hell-week that he did not want to live like that for the rest of his life. So now he is coming back to Virginia to serve on a ship for a whlle. Before he coming back he decided to buy a car. So for the last week we have been searching for that perfect car. Of course I tried to convince him to go e30, but he liked the e36 better. :(

So, now he has his car. A black on black '95 325iC. It has basically every option from the factory, including the awesome rollover package, and has been babied its whole life. Damn nice car! I get to fly out to San Diego from MA and we get to drive back to PA, where he gets to see his college buddies, and I have to go back to school!

Basically all this says is I am flying to San Diego, layover in Phoenix, road tripping across the country in a hot BMW and missing school. Sweet! :D

Well, yeah. We are going to go from Grand Canyon to Okalhoma City, to St. Louis, to Indianapollis, to Columbus and end up at Bucknell University in PA. Should be fun from San Diego to Grand Canyone at least, some good desert stuff!

            Damn, finally home!

That was a decent trip. Nothing to eventful though, and no fun times if you know what I mean. :(

So flew into San Diego via a connection in Phoenix, which nearly left without me. They held the plane when they saw our place was finally coming in. San Diego was cool, got to check out the SEAL obstacle course my bro did. Crazy shit! Ate at la Salsa, Damn good. Many hot chicks school had a half day I think. Drove to Grand Canyon that night.

When we woke up, car was covered in 2" snow at the hotel. First snow the car had seen! Drove around on the Southern Rim, but fog ruined the views. I will get some pics up shortly. Some views were rather cool because of the fog though.

Drove to Amarillo TX that night. Then to Oklahoma City, where we got some damn good steaks., and it was 70*. Shorts finally came in handy, and the drop top. Continued onwards to Springfield MO.

Next day went to Meramec Caverns, where Jesse James hid for a while, and got to see one helluva taacky light show. Caves were damn cool, and underground river! Then we went to Nellyville to the arch. St. Loius itself sucked, but the arch was impressive. That shit is tall, and shiny as hell. Drove the rest of the day to Columbus OH to stay with my aunt.

Next day just drove to NYC to stay with my bro's college buddys. Mardi Gras in NYC was a major let down. NOthing at all happening, and we even went down to a bar for some food and drinks. NOthing!

Destroyed his friends apartment after they had gone to work the next morning. Then drove home to Worcester MA.

Overall, our country is boring. Even when we got to the major cities there was nothing there. St. Louis and Oklahoma city were so empty. Let me say that eating mexican food for the first few days of that trip was not a good plan at all!

And for anyone who lives near a canyon drive, you are lucky SOB's. I did my first canyon drive up by Prescott AZ and it was pretty sweet. Of course it was dark and snowing so a little scary, but not to bad. And then I got lost and ended up doing it again. That was fun!

I will put up some pics soon once I download them off my bros camera that he gave to me, as well as his SEAL knife! Sweet!
